LPG Gas Consumers Alert 2026: 1 अक्टूबर से Subsidy के लिए Aadhaar Biometric Authentication जरूरी, ऐसे करें पूरा
अगर आपके घर में LPG cylinder आता है और आप subsidised domestic LPG refill का लाभ लेते हैं, तो सितंबर 2026 में एक जरूरी काम पूरा कर लेना बेहतर है।
भारत सरकार ने घोषणा की है कि 1 अक्टूबर 2026 से subsidised domestic LPG refill के लिए Biometric Aadhaar Authentication (BAA) पूरा होना जरूरी होगा।
Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas के अनुसार, 19 सितंबर 2026 तक 27.43 करोड़ LPG consumers यानी लगभग 89.9% consumers अपना biometric authentication पूरा कर चुके थे। जिन लोगों ने authentication पहले ही पूरा कर लिया है, उन्हें इसे दोबारा कराने की जरूरत नहीं है।
इसका मतलब यह है कि अगर आपका LPG connection अभी biometric Aadhaar authentication से verified नहीं है, तो 1 अक्टूबर से पहले यह प्रक्रिया पूरी करना समझदारी होगी।
1 अक्टूबर 2026 से LPG Consumers के लिए क्या बदलेगा?
1 अक्टूबर 2026 से domestic LPG consumers को regulated retail selling price (RSP) पर applicable subsidy के साथ refill booking के लिए Biometric Aadhaar Authentication पूरा करना होगा।
सरकार के अनुसार इस व्यवस्था का उद्देश्य subsidised LPG को वास्तविक और पात्र consumers तक पहुंचाना, duplicate या ineligible connections को हटाना और subsidy delivery को अधिक targeted बनाना है।
ध्यान रखें कि इसका अर्थ यह नहीं है कि हर LPG consumer को नया connection लेना होगा या Aadhaar को फिर से link कराना होगा।
मुख्य requirement है कि consumer की biometric Aadhaar authentication प्रक्रिया पूरी हो।
अगर आपने पहले ही authentication करा लिया है?
अगर आपका biometric Aadhaar authentication पहले ही complete हो चुका है, तो आपको दोबारा कुछ करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। PIB के अनुसार ऐसे consumers को आगे सामान्य रूप से refill मिलता रहेगा।
अगर authentication अभी बाकी है?
अगर आपने अभी तक biometric authentication नहीं कराया है, तो 1 अक्टूबर 2026 से पहले इसे पूरा कर लेना चाहिए।
LPG Biometric Aadhaar Authentication क्यों जरूरी किया गया है?
सरकार ने इस प्रक्रिया के पीछे कई उद्देश्य बताए हैं।
सबसे महत्वपूर्ण उद्देश्य है कि subsidy का लाभ वास्तविक LPG consumer तक पहुंचे।
LPG subsidy व्यवस्था में बड़े पैमाने पर सरकारी सहायता दी जाती है। ऐसे में beneficiary की पहचान को अधिक accurately verify करना subsidy leakage और duplicate connections जैसे मुद्दों को कम करने में मदद कर सकता है।
सरकार के अनुसार Aadhaar-based biometric authentication:
- genuine consumers की पहचान में मदद करता है
- duplicate connections को identify करने में सहायता करता है
- ineligible connections को हटाने में मदद करता है
- subsidised LPG के diversion को रोकने का प्रयास करता है
- subsidy को targeted बनाने में मदद करता है
इसका उद्देश्य consumer के लिए अतिरिक्त paperwork बढ़ाना नहीं बल्कि beneficiary verification को मजबूत करना है।
LPG Aadhaar Biometric Authentication कैसे करें?
अच्छी बात यह है कि authentication पूरा करने के लिए केवल distributor के office जाने की जरूरत नहीं है।
सरकार ने कई विकल्प बताए हैं।
तरीका 1: LPG Delivery के समय Authentication
सबसे आसान विकल्पों में से एक है कि जब आपके घर LPG cylinder की delivery आए, उसी समय biometric Aadhaar authentication पूरा कराया जाए।
PIB के अनुसार delivery personnel OMC mobile application का उपयोग करके मौके पर authentication प्रक्रिया पूरी कर सकता है।
इसलिए अगली LPG delivery के समय आप delivery personnel से पूछ सकते हैं:
“क्या मेरा Aadhaar biometric authentication complete है?”
अगर authentication pending है, तो उपलब्ध सुविधा के अनुसार वहीं प्रक्रिया पूरी की जा सकती है।
तरीका 2: LPG Distributor के Showroom पर जाएं
अगर आप delivery के समय authentication नहीं कराना चाहते या प्रक्रिया पूरी नहीं हो पाती, तो अपने LPG distributor के showroom पर जाकर authentication कराया जा सकता है।
यह विकल्प खास तौर पर उन लोगों के लिए उपयोगी हो सकता है जिन्हें अपने connection की verification स्थिति को लेकर कोई doubt है।
जाने से पहले अपने LPG consumer details और आवश्यक identification documents साथ रखना उपयोगी रहेगा।
तरीका 3: OMC Mobile App के माध्यम से
सरकार ने Oil Marketing Companies यानी OMCs के mobile apps के माध्यम से भी authentication की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई है।
इसलिए consumer अपने संबंधित LPG provider के official digital channel पर उपलब्ध authentication सुविधा को check कर सकता है।
यहां एक महत्वपूर्ण सावधानी है:
Aadhaar या bank-related information किसी random WhatsApp link, SMS link या unknown website पर submit न करें।
सरकारी scheme या LPG service के नाम पर fake websites और phishing messages भी circulate हो सकते हैं।
1 अक्टूबर से पहले क्या-क्या Check करें?
अगर आपके घर में LPG connection है, तो एक छोटी checklist बनाकर verification कर लेना बेहतर है।
Step 1: LPG Connection Details Check करें
सबसे पहले अपने LPG connection की basic details check करें।
देखें कि connection आपके नाम पर है या परिवार के किसी अन्य सदस्य के नाम पर।

यह पता करें कि biometric Aadhaar authentication पहले से complete है या pending।
अगर status clear नहीं है, तो official LPG distributor या संबंधित OMC digital channel से verify करें।

Authentication पूरा होने के बाद यदि कोई confirmation/reference information मिलती है, तो उसे सुरक्षित रखना अच्छा रहेगा।
LPG Authentication का Practical Flow
LPG Connection → Authentication Status Check → Authentication Pending? → YES → Delivery / Distributor / OMC App → Biometric Aadhaar Authentication → Confirmation → Subsidised Refill Access
अगर authentication पहले से complete है:
LPG Connection → Status Verified → No Further Action
किन LPG Consumers को खास ध्यान देना चाहिए?
यह update खास तौर पर उन consumers के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है जो:
- नियमित LPG refill लेते हैं
- subsidised domestic LPG का लाभ लेते हैं
- लंबे समय से अपने LPG connection की details verify नहीं कर पाए हैं
- पुराने connection details इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं
- Aadhaar authentication status को लेकर unsure हैं
- ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में रहते हैं और distributor-based services का उपयोग करते हैं
- delivery के दौरान authentication सुविधा उपलब्ध होने की जानकारी नहीं रखते
हालांकि, हर consumer को अपनी स्थिति official channel से verify करनी चाहिए।
अगर मेरा Aadhaar Authentication नहीं हुआ तो क्या होगा?
सरकार की घोषणा का मुख्य प्रभाव subsidised LPG refill booking at regulated retail selling price with applicable subsidy से जुड़ा है। 1 अक्टूबर 2026 से biometric authentication requirement लागू होगी।
इसलिए जिन consumers ने authentication पूरा नहीं किया है, उनके लिए 1 अक्टूबर से पहले प्रक्रिया पूरी करना सबसे सुरक्षित approach है।
इसे आखिरी तारीख तक टालने से बचना बेहतर है, क्योंकि distributor, app या authentication facility से संबंधित practical issues होने पर अतिरिक्त समय लग सकता है।
क्या Authentication दोबारा कराना पड़ेगा?
अगर आपका biometric Aadhaar authentication पहले ही complete हो चुका है, तो PIB के अनुसार इसे दोबारा कराने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
इसलिए सबसे पहले यह पता करना जरूरी है कि आपकी authentication स्थिति क्या है।
बिना status check किए बार-बार authentication कराने की कोशिश करने की जरूरत नहीं है।
LPG Subsidy और LPG Price में क्या अंतर है?
यहां एक महत्वपूर्ण distinction समझना जरूरी है।
LPG refill की market/regulated retail price और subsidy एक ही चीज नहीं हैं।
Subsidy एक government support mechanism है, जिसके तहत eligible consumers को निर्धारित नियमों के अनुसार benefit मिलता है।
इसलिए biometric authentication requirement का मतलब यह नहीं है कि LPG cylinder की एक universal नई कीमत घोषित कर दी गई है।

क्या यह केवल शहरों के LPG Consumers के लिए है?
नहीं।
PIB की जानकारी के अनुसार authentication सुविधा urban और rural दोनों क्षेत्रों में उपलब्ध है। सरकार ने consumers से 1 अक्टूबर 2026 से पहले authentication पूरा करने का अनुरोध किया है।

तो तुरंत विश्वास न करें।
इन बातों का ध्यान रखें
OTP किसी अनजान व्यक्ति को न बताएं।
ATM PIN या UPI PIN कभी share न करें।
Card details random websites पर न डालें।
Unknown APK या mobile application install न करें।
WhatsApp पर आए random government-looking links पर click न करें।
Authentication के लिए official LPG distributor या official OMC digital channels का इस्तेमाल करें।
अगर Authentication में समस्या आए तो क्या करें?
अगर biometric authentication fail हो जाता है या आपका Aadhaar/consumer information match नहीं करता, तो घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है।
सबसे पहले अपने LPG distributor से संपर्क करें।
आप अपना consumer number, connection details और Aadhaar-related information लेकर distributor से पूछ सकते हैं कि verification में समस्या कहां है।
अगर digital channel से authentication नहीं हो रहा है, तो distributor showroom वाला विकल्प इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है।

सबसे अच्छी strategy यह है कि अंतिम तारीख का इंतजार न करें।
अपना status check करें।
Authentication pending है तो official channel से पूरा करें।
और किसी भी suspicious LPG/Aadhaar message से सावधान रहें।
